V1 is designed to work without an account, email address, or personal profile.

Anonymous product analytics

StackRefine records limited product events such as page views, audit starts/completions, selected bottleneck categories, generated recommendation categories, and outbound product-link clicks. These events are used to understand whether the product works and where users get stuck.

We do not ask for your name or email in V1. We do not intentionally collect message contents, precise location, or payment information. A temporary random session identifier may be used to understand an anonymous visit funnel.

Affiliate links

Some outbound product links may be affiliate links. If you subscribe after following one, StackRefine may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate payout does not affect the recommendation rules.

Third-party sites

Once you leave StackRefine, the destination site's own privacy and cookie policies apply.

Changes

This policy will be updated if StackRefine adds accounts, email features, or additional analytics tools.
